Can't disable IE Security

B

Bill

IE 6 Security blocks my downloading of photos from my digital camera.

The following pops up: "To help protect your security, Internet
Explorer has restricted this file from showing active content that
could access your computer. Click here for options…..."

The options give you a set of instructions, however, they don't solve
the problem. I just want to get rid of that pop-up bar and the
blockage.

How this may have happened: I got tired of the Windows Upgrade popping
up from the tray, so I set it for automatic upgrades, An obviouis
mistake. How do I disable automatic upgrades?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, this may work
Internet Options> Advanced> Security> check "Allow active content to run in
files on My Computer ."
