Can't Dial out of phone dialer

I am unable to dial out with the phone dialer; however I
can dial out to connect to the internet. The error message
says, "Unable to connec the call". Help appreciated! Thank
you.

sounds like a TAPI issue.
the network is using the modem
the dialer can't gain access

test
if you disable the network and reboot, the dailer should be able to
gain access and dial.
sometimes just try using the dialer IMMEDIATELY after rebooting - ie
before using the internet.

can't tell u how to fix as it varies with system and hardware

the TAPI function is suppose to allow multiple access.
It may not be installed, functioning, or available for use with the HW
u have.
