Check the box to Include non-indexed, hidden and system files.
For Name type
WindowsMail.MSMessageStore
Click the Search button.
It should list two of them. Delete both

I doubt MS will spend one minute or one dollar to fix any probs in WinMail -Hi chaps - that solution seems to work until the next time when you have
to
do it all again!
But if you have the amount of directories and emails that I have, it is
not
a realistic option to do this.
A simple solution (for me anyway) is to flag the offending emails in the
inbox and then create a view which hides the flagged emails.
Real solution is for MS to look at these exchanges and create a fix
If users continue to express their frustrations in these blogs and better
still magasines, then the bad press will affect sales and begin to show a
cost deficit - MS will then show an interest.
Meantime, thankfully it is not the biggest problem we all have to face.
Keep smiling!

but
I finally got the outbox empty! Now, I still have one message in the
inbox
that won't go away, but I'll deal with that problem later.
The one in the outbox was preventing any other messages from sending. I
am
a dodo bird because I didn't save any of the thank goodness only other 3
though, by copying them or somesuch, but it's not the end of the world. I
have never been here before, so I don't even know if I'm posting
correctly!
Thank you Steve! I think a number of us just have a hard time thinking in
a
technical way!

Message stuck in Inbox said:I have a similar problem. Contacted my local cable provider. No help.
Referred me to Microsoft. Contacted Microsoft. No help. Referred me to
Dell
where I purchased this new system one month ago. Dell informed me that the
sender of my message is using older operating software that is not
compatible
with my new Vista Home Premium version. A problem always encountered in
the
past when new operating software is released. I was informed that
Microsoft
is working on the problem and will release solutions by updates as they
become availabile. Could run to the end of the year!! In the meantime that
message sits in in my Inbox , stuck.
