Can't delete a particular cookie.

Please tell me why I cannot delete the following Cookie: index.dat Is it
supposed to be there?
It's in C:\Documents and Settings\Star\Cookies

It is a system file so it can't be deleted, and yes, it is supposed to
be there.

If you really want to delete it:
Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/free-history-eraser.htm will delete
the History folder (and the index.dat file) and a new one will be
created when you restart.
