Can't convert to dynamic disks under Win2k SP4

G

Gillies

Greetings all,

Using the disk manager under Win2k SP4, I can't convert a basic disk into a
dynamic disk. When I right click on the drive icon, (Disk 0 Basic Disk)
the Upgrade to dynamic disk is missing. The only options available are
Properties and Help. Nothing else. Furthermore, I added a new hard drive,
and can't setup a dynamic disk on this drive either. The option is simply
missing (convert to a dynamic disk). Two NTFS partions are present on the
first HD and none on the second HD.

What did I miss ? TIA
