Cant connect remotely

i have 2 computers, both with xp home...both are up to date. and im trying
to remotely connect. message i am getting is "remote connections not enabled,
or too busy.also network problems are preventing connection"
Firewall has been disabled on both, as has antiviral software. i do have it
going through a hub, however i have tried pc to pc via cat 5 only, and still
no luck. I still get the same message.
also tried via email, and messenger with no luck.
can anyone help please?

You can not use Remote Desktop to access/control an XP Home machine. XP Home
can only act as a Remote Desktop client.

Consider UltraVNC as an alternative. You can get the host/server, client,
encryption plug-in and XP video driver from...
