Can't clone HD with EWF-Partition

I am using an image with EWF. During FBA an EWF partition is created.
When XPe first starts up (efw is not enabled at this time) i install a few
programs.

After that i copy C: and the EWF partition to another HD (same size and
type).

XPe starts normally from the second HD, but i can't enable EWF.

What am i doing wrong?
