Can't change power settings

I am unable to change the power settings on new laptop, Im the only one who
uses the PC its all passworded and stuff, I was able to change them just the
other day but now im not able to, I have all the admin rights...etc, It says
the power plan information is not availaible, HELP lol

What info do you show under "Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Power
Options"?
