Can't Change My Desktop Background

I have been trying now for a week to figure out why. When I go to properties
and click on display, The window to change it comes up, but I can't click on
any of the images, the browse button, or the stretch button. I can change the
color. It only does this on the owner account, the others work fine.

So far I have run AVG anti-spy, Spybot s & d, and Adaware 6, as well as all
of the Windows cleaning programs I have.I also ran a registry cleaner.
Nothing has worked. Can someone please help me?

thanks but that didn't work either. no matter tho I fixed it. but thanks anyway

Your'e welcome :-) Glad that you were able to get it fixed

try this: nav to a picture you want as your desktop, right-click it and
choose "set as desktop background". Does that work?

sometimes choosing a pic from the display prop's dialog doesn't work;
usually this is because "active desktop" is not enabled. The way to do
that is w/ TweakUI, Explorer section, check/enable "allow web content to
be added to the desktop".
