In XP Pro SP1, I'm trying to change .TIF files to open with Photoshop
Elements instead of the default Microsoft application. I browse to the
Photoshop Elements.exe file and say Open but it is not changed nor to PS
Elements show up in the program list. Any suggestions?

Hi

Right click on a .TIF file and select Open With>Choose Program. You may
have to use Browse to find PE and enable 'Always use the selected program to
open this kind of file'.

This is what I did and it doesn't stick.

Hi

Has PE got it's own File Types setting where you can include .TIF files to
be opened by that program?

I'm also having the same problem with MS Project files. I try to add it to
the File Association list and it looks like it's working; but when I look for
it, it's not there. Did you find out what was your problem?
Thanks in advance for your time on this.
