Problem With Adobe Photoshop 6 % Premiere 4

I have Windows Vista and I installed Adobe Photoshop 6 and Adobe Premiere 4,
and though they both "successfully" installed, neither will open correctly.
Photoshop simply won't open, and Premiere opens, but once it starts to load
the file WAV_WARP.AEX, it freezes. These are the problem reports for Premiere:

Say how so that other people looking in here who might have the same problem
can benefit from the pain you have been through.

Shame on me.

If PHOTOSHOP and PREMIERE won't open after install:

1. Go to adobe.com,
2. Select DOWNLOADS and then select UPDATES in the drop menu
3. Choose Acrobat-Windows in the product menu
4. Go down to VERSION 8.1 and select:
"Adobe Acrobat 8 Licensing Service Update (Windows Vista Only)"
5. Read the instructions at the bottom of the page before downloading.

Hope that works!
