Cant boot into safe mode

I have a client that is using Windows XP x64. I am trying to boot into safe
mode by restarting the computer and pressing F8. However I never receive the
advanced boot options so that I can boot into safe mode. Is there another
trick I can use to boot into safe mode with Windows XP Pro x64?

Thanks

You can try going to start..run..msconfig..boot.ini tab and put a check in
safeboot. Be sure to uncheck it when you're through.

Try pecking on the F5 key instead. Using msconfig to boot to Safe Mode
can get you in an endless loop if Safe Mode won't load.
