Can't AutoArchive Subfolder

K

Kevin

I'm trying to AutoArchive all messages before 9-1-2002. The structure of the
Personal folder is straight forward, one folder named "clients" and inside
those client folder there is more folder for different division of those
clients, and finally emails in those folders. I guess it would look like
this: Personal Folder/Client/Division/emails. When I try to Archive only the
"client" folder, the only thing I get is the folders but no emails. When I
try manually archiving by selecting the "Archive even No Archive folder"(I
cant remember the exact words) it still would not archive the email. I'm not
sure what is going on, but if I select under the archive properties for the
"Client" to achieve to a particular file Clients9-1-02.pst, then all the
other folder inside should archive at the same?
Do I need to setup every one of those subfolder to achieve?? that would take
a life time to do!

thank you for your help!

You have to set the folders individually or set the overall setting here:
Tools menu > Options > Other > AutoArchive then click the "Apply these
settings to all folders now" button
