Can't access newsgroup servers.

Seems like it's since SP1. Happened twice now, have to restart to get it to
work. Anyone else having this problem? Running Vista Home Premium.

I use two newsgroups servers and the Vista SP1 update didn't cause me
any such problems.

Make it 4 times now. I use two servers too. Maybe something unique to my

news.chi.sbcglobal.net and Microsoft Communities. Just did chkdsk /f will
see what happens.

I didn't find instructions on which of these servers, if any, you
should use.

I also use the Microsoft Communities server, without problems.

Instead of news.chi.sbcglobal.net try news.prodigy.net.
That's what I use.
