Can't access Microsoft Word

I don't know what happened to it. It worked one minute
and then my system shut down automatically and now I
can't access microsoft word.
When I try to reinstall from the program file, it tells
me to insert the CD for it. Any suggestions?

Insert the CD--it needs original files from the cd to repair the program.
