Can't access cookie files

After I installed service pack 3, I no longer have a cookie file under
settings & documents\default user. is there a way to get this file back since
my antivirus and antispyware are unable to find it?

Cookies are saved per user account. Go look under:

%userprofile%\Cookies

Cookies are .txt (text) files. They are NOT spyware or malware. So why
do you care if your anti-malware can't find any cookies?
