Canot send email

when i try sending email with microsoft mail i get this error code also
incredi mail dosent work

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'pop.windstream.net',
Server: 'smtp.windstream.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No,
Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
 
Hi,

The error code means that the mail program cannot talk to the mail server,
should you have authentication enabled? Tools/Accounts, click on the mail
account and then on properties. On the Server tab, see if authentication is
enabled for the outgoing server near the bottom.
