canon powershot A75 as webcam

I am using Canon A75 powershot to download pictures but not able to use it as
webcam. Is there any option available in Windows XP (professional) for such
use?

Why on earth should there be?! It has nothing whatsoever to do with Windows
or MS. Does the manual say it can be used in such a manner? If so, take it
up with Canon. It certainly has nothing to do with MS!

Jay, the PowerShot camera line has a jack for video out as I recall. I
suspect there is a solution but you might incur a cost higher than many of
the inexpensive web-cams. Try the microsoft.public.windowsxp.messenger or
microsoft.public.msn.messenger newsgroups where you will almost certainly
find constructive replies as I know people there have asked about the use of
video cameras as web-cams.
