Try this, open Outlook Express, go to Tools, select Options, go to the
Security tab, remove the check from the "Do not allow attachments to be
saved or opened that could potentially be a virus," click apply and ok.
Note, before opening any attachment, you should always save it somewhere
else on your hard drive and scan it first for viruses even if it comes from
a friend or family. Most viruses are transmitted from friends or family of
users who, thinking this individual wouldn't send a virus, unwittingly open
the attachment. Most people who send a virus, don't know they have it.

I get the message that I need to go to folder options and find the program
to poem certain extensions , namely email & EML. sometimes it tells me that
this extension is not a valid Win32application. Is there a fix for this
problem, I tried to remove outlook express and reinstall but I noted no
change.Hopefully someone might be able to solve this problem for me! Thanks
