EML attachments

Off late (from last few months) if I am composing any mail and attach an
email (eml) file with the composed mail, the attached file opens as junk (all
letters garbled). Similarly I am receiving all eml attachments as junk
(garbled letters). I have tried everything by disabling my anti virus program
(I use Bit defender) but the problem does not go away.

Can someone help me ?

This sounds similar to your other situation. Try uninstalling the antivirus
program and then remove and add your account back again and see if that
