.eml attachments in M S outlook 2003

I am not able to open .eml files as attachment in my M S outlook 2003. The
sender has sent mails from Thunderbolt mail agent.
Pl help me in opening this attachment.

What happens when you try?
Outlook is not responsible for opening attachments. Windows opens it with
the default handler you have configured on your computer. By default,
eml-files are opened with Outlook Express.

Nothing happens when I double click on this attachment in 'Microsoft
Outlook' , it is not 'Outlook express'.
Any way what should be my configuration of default handler so that such
attachments can be open.

Outlook doesn't use the eml-format but the msg-format. Eml-files will always
open with a separate program for which Outlook is not responsible for. As I
said; by default they open with Outlook Express.

That said, there is a bug in Google Desktop which prevents such files to be
opened via a double click. Uninstall Google Desktop or update to the latest
version to solve that.
