Cannot View Thumbnails in folders

Even though I have selected the Thumbnail View to the
folder containing pictures, it doesnt show the thumbnails.
All it shows is a thumbnail box view with a small icon
inside. Why is that and how can I change it?

Hi Rainman,

It's possible you've lost the association and that is why it is unable to
display the pictures.
Please try the following

Start -> Run -> regsvr32 %windir%\system32\shimgvw.dll
Close and reopen the window and it should display in thumbnail view again.
