Everything goes smoothly during installation until I
restart the system. Then after the BIOS loads, I receive a
message saying that the "l_int.nls" file is missing and
everything stops. I haven't found any reference to this in
the knowledgebase, even though is a message generated by
Windows.

Thank you for your help.

Are you doing a clean install; i.e., formatting the hard drive and
installing onto the "empty" drive OR doing an upgrade; i.e., installing
over an existing os? If the latter, try doing the former. Be sure to
back up all your data because formatting the hard drive will get rid of
everything. If a clean install doesn't work, then you probably have
failing hardware. Start with testing RAM and if that is ok, move onto
hard drive diagnosis.
