cannot send emails

Hi can any help I can receive but not send emails I get the message
The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'pop.ntlworld.com',
Server: 'ntlworld.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket
Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
Does anyone know how to solve this? Thankyou.

I have deleted my anti-virus(free AVG) as I did not know how to turn of the
email scanner and Im still getting the same message I still cannot send

Do not assume that your problem is just like someone else's.
If you need help, give a detailed breakdown of your issue,
complete with verbatim error messages.

There is no reason to believe that your mail provider (GoDaddy)
is somehow incompatible with Vista or Windows Mail.

Yes GoDaddy works fine under Vista.
