Cannot send email when on LAN

In a particular location the users are setup to have their own computers send
mail. One user is unable to send email while logged on to the network. When
logged on at home he is fine. The outgoing server is set to local host. Other
2 users are set to their computer name.company name.com I tried to set his
the same way and I immediately got an error message saying unable to relay.

Any ideas?

HI,
have the user internet conection in your company?
Maybe you have to insert an IP Adress for this user.
And be sure that the POP and SMTP Server is right!
