Cannot send e-mail

I am unable to send email. receive works fine. Pc is one day old and
Microsoft mail never worked. Got error message that register was incorrect.
Is there anyway to fix this kind of problem. I looked at the register and saw
nothing that looked weird. Any help would be apprecated.
 
Try removing your mail account and closing WinMail. Then turn off email
scanning of your antivirus software. Then add your account back again.
