Cannot run any OfficeXP apps from client machines

Also, be sure that you have the latest service pack
installed for Office.

thanks for your (continued?) help (please?)....be aware this problem just
happened even tho OfficeXP was installed about a year ago.....so 316769 does
not appear to be applicable.

we tried 325081 with no change.

any other thoughts?

Yeah. It appears that other people are having the same
problem with SP4 as you are. I'll see if I can figure out
what is going on here...

To run an experiment off the main system, i pulled a hard drive from a RAID
unit and loaded it to another identical system. To ensure the error would
come up again, I first tried to start Word and I did get that same error.
Then I un-installed SP4. Then tried Word again...got the same error....
I am not so sure this is related to SP4 now....unless the un-install does
not restore everything as it was.
