I need urgent assistance (Advanced)

On Windows XP Professional with Outlook 2002 SP2, I was getting the
0x8004210B error when sending or forwarding mail with attachments. Since I
had come across this before - I tried following the same procedures as I
have used previously to overcome this problem but had no success.

This was a brand new system fully patched (Windows and Office updates
applied) and
Trend Micro Internet Security 2004 as the Anti-Virus.

0x8004210B Mail get's stuck in Outbox when sending or forwarding messages
with
attachments.

The customer uses a dialup account to Telstra Bigpond.

I also followed the workaround in the articles below - but no success:

After this, I Installed Service Pack 3 for OfficeXP (which was suppose to
rectify the
problem) but didnt fix it.

After deleting the mail account and recreating it - I still was receiving
this error and experiencing the same problem.

I created the DWORD entry in the registry - still didnt work.

I removed Trend Micro Internet Security 2004 - restarted - deleted and
recreated mail
account - problem still occured!

So then we upgraded to Office 2003 - updated through Office Update - but the
problem still exists!

Using Outlook 2003 - I tried this article : but no luck

I don't know what else to do - Peter Scott

Are you sure your ISP will allow the size of attachment
that you were trying to send. I got errors when mine did
that. Also I had one ISP that requested that you use a
different SMTP server if you were going to be sending
larger attachments.

Just a thought.

I can use the same mail account settings on another PC - send 1Mb
attachments no problem.

Any luck on this issue???

I have the same problem - Outlook 2003 cant send emails. Well it can
sometimes. But other times the emails just get stuck in the outbox.

Have tried:-
- removing and recreating accounts
- Office update
- Reinstalled office completely
- DWORD solution
- Disabled all firewalls and antivirus

Funny thing is sometimes the emails go straight out (even when ther
are others there), and sometimes they'll just sit in the outbox an
Outlook wont even attempt to send them. Its quite frustrating, and I'
getting quite sick of this. It was all working perfectly for a fe
months, and hten all of a sudden its stopped.

If anyone has managed to fix this problem, PLEASE let me know.

Thanks heaps
Gre
