Cannot remember login credentials

I use XP pro with SP1 and all teh latest updates. When I go to certain web site which requires login crtedentials the windows login window pops up and it ask me if I want to remember my login info. Even though I check ti to remember it every time I go to the same page it keeps asking me for the login password. It somehow rememberes the login nam ebut does not remember th epassword. How can I over come this issue?

One thing it COULD be......
You have to type your user name in, NOT cut and paste it then your password,
then click on the box with the user name, then the box with your password
and your password should automatically fill in.. You should only have to
type it in once. Good Luck
