I recently had to reinstall my windows xp program because my computer would
not stop rebooting after my updates came through, I have been able to recover
all my files from the other one but I cannot get back my anti-virus
protector, I can see it in the other windows program but cannot bring it over
to this one. Just to let you know that I have 2 windows programs on my
computer until I recover everything. Help PLEASE!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, you'll have to reinstall your antivirus program,
as well as any other applications you wish to run, on this new
Windows installation. Those programs files you see won't work
in the new installation. There are all sorts of registry
entries that have to be created in the second copy of Windows.
The only way to do that is to reinstall the programs.

Good luck

If you have the CD for your anti-virus program, perhaps uninstalling the
application from the bad Widows installation, after which you could try
installing it on the partition that holds your good Windows. It depends on
the brand anti-virus program you are using and how picky the company is about
installing their application. If you are not using the free version of AVG,
you might consider downloading AVG, uninstalling the currently seen program
and installing AVG on your good Windows.
Get AVG here: http://free.grisoft.com/
