Cannot receive Outlook on New Vista Laptop

I have Outlook Express on my PC at work. I just bought a new laptop with
Vista, my E-mail account is set up right, but on my Laptop I'm only receiving
maybe 1 out of 10 emails. I'm just trying to figure out why I would receive
some Emails...but not others

Any Help guys? Thanks in advance

Did you set up *both* machines to leave a copy of messages on the server?
That makes them available to both machines, also set a reasonable number of
days to delete from the server on *one* of them, to avoid your server
mailbox from filling up.
Tools>accounts>your account>properties>advanced tab.
