Cannot Play Shrek DVD and some others...PLEASE HELP!

'Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk might be
corrupted, or it could be using a format that is not
compatible with Windows.'

My laptop seems to be able to read some DVDs and not be
able to read others.

The above error is when I placed the Shrek DVD in my
computer.. The DVD drive makes noises like it is jumping
all over the dvd it..But then it just stops. And gives me
an error.. The dvd is brand new and works on my friends
Mac Laptop!... CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME!

I've noticed some DVD drives are just ultra sensitive, and possibly not
manufactured very well. Mine wouldn't play anything for awhile, making
clicking noises, and now it can play them just fine. Maybe it would just
dirty or dusty. I don't know!
