Cannot open Outlook 2007

After trying the Inbox Repair Tool and also trimming the file size down well
below the accepted 2GB requirement I am still unable to open my pst file.

Suggestions?

Outlook 2007, or OL2003, format pst's do not have a 2gb limitation.
Did you upgrade from a pre 2003 version of Outlook using the origonal data
file?
Have you tried opening outlook with the safe switch
Start>Run
outlook.exe /safe
Whats the exact err msg?

"errors have been detected in the file...use the Inbox repair tool...

I tried your safe switch suggestion and it wouldn't run. I put
outlook.exe/save in the Run box and it couldn't find it.

oh and no this wasn't an upgrade

hmm, now that I think about it i was using 2000 and imported that file and
converted it.

You need a space after the .exe and before the /.

If you imported a pst data into a current pst, it retains the format of the
current pst
