Outlook 2007 very slow

Dear all,

My colleague reported that him outlook 2007 client is slowing down. When him
click on item on inbox, the message take round half second to multiple second
to open.

He uses POP3 to receive email and his .pst file size is around 2GB. SP2 for
office 2007 has been applied and he is using a Windows XP SP3 machine.

Any suggestion I can do to troubleshoot the issue?

Does it work correctly in Outlook Safe Mode?
Start->Run; outlook.exe /safe

If so, the issue is most likely caused by an add-in.

It look better in safe mode, I will try to disable the add-ins for checking.
