Cannot open more than one window IE6 or Mozilla

IE refuses to have more than one window open. If I select
Open in New Window, it will open and then close before any
objects can even load. I can run Juno's browser and it
will perform correctly which is strange since it uses some
of IE to work. I loaded Mozilla and experienced the same
problem as with IE. Yep, I turned all the anti-popup stuff
off. I have had this prob since before the popup blockers
showed up, last version of IE had the same barf. Opera
also works without a problem.

I have seen other posts ref to this prob but no solutions.
Is this an XP problem you think?

Summary:
Screwed: IE 6 & Mozilla (problem is identical)
Works fine: Juno and Opera
XP Pro with all the updates
half gig of RAM, 1.2 GHZ Athlon

Java issue?

Tools/internet options/advanced/Microsoft VM
....only tick the JIT compiler box and leave the Java boxes un checked
(default)

Parasite?
IE 6.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the malware is.
