Cannot open encrypted files

I have encrypted couple of important folders, later when
experimenting with network changed my computer name a
couple of times. Now I cannot open files in these folders.

WinXP was not re-installed, so may be I have some
"permission files" somewhere on my computer, but cannot
find it?

tried to log in with administrator account? That should be
the default account that is able to de-crypt everything

I thought i didn't confuse them.
Isn't Administrator the default account for decrypting?

Not unless it is specifically designated as a Recovery Agent.
It is not done by default in Windows XP.
