Size of EFS encrypted files

Hi all,

I have some questions regarding larger EFS encrypted files:

1. Is there a limit for the size of files to be handled by EFS?
2. Is the encrypted file encrypted in segments of some reasonable size or
sequentially as a whole?
3. Is the file decrypted when beeing opened or only when accessed?
