Cannot log onto network

Hi,
I have a great problem here, please see scenario list
below:
1. If I log into my own PC using my own username, i can
get into Windows but cannot access any network shares. If
I try to access any I get the error "There are currently
no logon servers available..."
2. If I log onto my own PC using another user name, all is
ok
3. If I log onto any other PC using my own username, all
is ok.

The problem is simply the mix of MY username on MY PC!

Any ideas?

Problem solved!
Thanks for the reply but I tried all of that! After many
hours of head scratching I tried deleting all the
networking components (client for MS Networks, TCP/IP
etc.) and then re-installed them. Hey presto, everything
returned. I'll know next time... :-)
