Cannot log into PC after update

The Gimp

I updated my PC this evening and after restart, logged in to profile
but was logged out almost istantly.
Any suggestions?? help??
 
On restart or start up,tap the F8 key,select safe mode,enter xp as user
1st,if
that doesnt work enter as administrator,once in xp chk event viewer & user
accounts...

I've tried all accounts on the PC. Cannot log into any account the
result is the same. Instant log off.
This is insane I have my notebook wanting the same updates as my PC
and half afaid of the update.
