Cannot keep settings on HP

R

Roger Wick

I have an HP 932c.
Every time I print something I have to manually reset my settings to draft
mode.
For some reason it will not keep my settings. It always reverts back to
normal.
Does anyone have any ideas???

Try making the changes by clicking Start, Settings, Printers, double click
on your printer. Select from the Printer pull down menu- Printing
Preferences. Make your changes, then click apply.

If you make your changes from your program, they are usually not saved.

For 'permanent' changes, you need to do it from Start/Settings/Printers.
Right click the printer, and choose:
9x/ME: Properties
NT: Document Defaults
2K/XP: Printing Preferences

Make you changes, and they will become the defaults for most programs. A
few programs do save settings and may need to be set separately.
