Cannot join domain: "access denied"

Trying to join a 2003 enterprise edition server to a new 2003 active
directory. Receive a access denied error. Have tried to join with a
computer account setup and without a computer account setup. Here is
the netsetup.log entry:

s the domain named binaryscience or binaryscience.com? Single level domain
names are not recommended for Active Directory. See:

The domain name is binaryscience.com and that is not the issue, have
tried using both when joining does not make a difference.
