Giorgio

Hi,

I need some help because i've Vista Ultimate SP1 and when I try to
install Live Messenger with windows live installer i get a messafe
"sorry, we couldn't install these programs." then a list of the
options I selected is displayed as not installed.
Then a message below saying
"To try to fix the problem, click 'try again later' and we'll add..."

I keep trying and nothing....

Also, I cannot install any messenger (Yahoo, ICQ, etc...)

Also, everytime i close IE 7 when I click in the red cross X the
browser crashes and says that there's a problem.

Please help me.

Thanks
Giorgio

I have the same problem with windows live messenger...
I changed my operating system to Vista on My Desktop pc... Did a clean
Install.. Got it activated..
But cant use Windows live messenger..
Every time I try to install it..... "sorry, we couldn't install these
programs." .. No error code...
Just... "To try to fix the problem, click 'try again later' and we'll
add Windows live installe to your desktop"
I checked in many other forums.... NO fixed solution as yet.. though
many people have same problem..
Hope Microsoft releases a fix...

Where as for Yahoo Messenger...
I installed the vista version of it..
It worked for me..
Get it here.. http://messenger.yahoo.com/windowsvista.php
