Hey, ever since I installed Tiny Personal Firewall, I have not been able to
hibernate (XP Home SP2). It worked when I shut down the firewall, but this
was after only being online for a little while. After having the PC running
for a fair chunk of time that does not work. I searched for solutions, and
found various responses, however I thought I would still post. I read about
one case where Nero is involved, and I do have Nero, but it only started
happening after installing TPF. I tried deleting the hibernation file, but
that did not work either. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks.

try setting your swap file with a minimum of 2 and max of maybe 1300.
possible that the hibernation has no room to engage a hibernation space after
your recent installl

If you've EVER had hibernate actually work correctly, count yourself
lucky :)

Windows hibernate has been plagued with problems ever since it was
added. I've had more crashes trying to use it in the past.

Good luck with this, I suggest you stop using it altogether, but perhaps
one of the MVP types here will have a more useful (to you) suggestion.
