Cannot get 2nd computer on the internet

Hello. We bought a Belkin router and network card. I
have been unable to get our 2nd computer on the internet.
It is showing that it is connected to the internet, but
will not go to any interent pages or anything like that.
I honestly don't know what to do. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Sorry I forgot to add, the first computer is on Windows XP
home, and the 2nd is on Windows XP Pro.

solution.
