Cannot find file filename or one of its components

I receive the following message when attempting to open an excel file from
'My Documents' folder: Cannot find file filename (or one of its components);
check to ensure the path and filename are correct and that all required
libraries are available. I can open other files from the folder and I can
open excel files directly from the excel application. I am running windows
2000 professional and excel 97.

Hi Bluefield

Click on Tools|Options, select the General tab, untick Ignore Other
Applications
