Cannot export Access 2007 Report into Excel

Hello!
I am trying to export a report into Excel. The options availabe to me are
Word RTF, PDF, Access Database, Text File, or XML File. Excel is not a
highlighted option. Is this because Access simply does not allow export of
reports to Excel? Or, do I need an add-in?
 
Yes, Access 2007 is not able to export a report, from Preview, to Excel. As
I recall, something to do with a lawsuit/settlement.

The data, yes, but the "formatted-for-print" image, no.

So the work-around solution is to export the query, not the report.

I wanted to export the report into Excel because of the charts. I need a
way for charts to be created for each rep, and Access did it pretty well with
Reports. I'm sure Excel can do this with some code or macro. Can you
recommend a tutorial or reference that may help me figure this out?
 
So, if you were able to get the data out to Excel (and you can!), you could
use the features/functions in Excel to create the charts?

I'd suggest visiting the Excel newsgroups for leads on creating charts.
