Cannot display this page

Hi, I have a computer here that i can connect to the isp
(dialup), but i cannot get any page to display.... I have
check all network settings and they seem fine. I can ping
locally but cannot ping any www. is there anyway to find
out what is blocking this? I am running windows XP home
ed SP1. I put this computer on a network and can see the
other computers but as soon as i try to ping out on www
no response or host cannot be found.....

It may be a winsock problem.
