Cannot connect to Windows Mail

For the past year I have not been able to connect to Windows Mail. When I
first got my laptop with Windows Vista I had no problem. Then I began to have
problems where I could only connect some of the time and now I cannot connect
at all. Does anyone have an answer?

No one can help you this way.
1. Windows Mail is a program that comes with your Vista laptop. How is it
possible that you cannot connect to it ?
2. You said you had no problem before. Now you do. So, what happened when
you tried to send e-mail ? Is there an error message ? If yes, copy the
entire message and post it back.

The error messages I get are: (1) The connection to the server has failed.
Account: 'att.net E-Mail',
Server:'postoffice.worldnet.att.net,'POP3,Port:110,Secure(SSL):No, Socket
Error:10061, Error Number:0x800CCC0E (2) The connection to the Server has
failed, Account:'att.net E-Mail', Server:'postoffice.worldnet.att.net', POP3,
Port:995, Secure(SSL):Yes, Socket Error:10060, Error Number:0x800CCC0E

Check with the link below.
Port # 995 belongs to " Accessing Through High-speed Connections & Other
ISPs ", and
POP server name is " ipostoffice.worldnet.att.net (Port 995) ". NOTE :
there is an " i " in front of " post office.... "
Otherwise, the POP setting should be ... POP3 server:
postoffice.worldnet.att.net or postoffice.att.net (Port 110)
Here is the link, check it with your particular requirements :

Thank you t-4-2. I think I'm almost there. With your help, for some reason I
was able to receive all my e-mails. But now I can't connect again. I get this
error message --- Account 'att.net E-Mail', Server:
'ipostoffice.worldnet.att.net', Protocol: POP3, Server.-ERR authorization not
enabled', Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error
Number: 0x800CCC18. I get the same message with Account worldnet.att.net also.

I can only tell you what I read from the link :
Have you tried :
POP3 server: postoffice.worldnet.att.net or postoffice.att.net (Port
110)
User Name: your e-mail ID*
Password: your e-mail password
SMTP server: mailhost.worldnet.att.net or mailhost.att.net (Port 25)

According to
http://help.att.net/docs/use/email/gen/prb_xxx_xxx_mail-news-settings.htm
the mail servers you are supposed to use depend on whether your service
is dial-up or broadband. What type of Internet connection are you using?
