Hi, i just got my Vista Ultimate machine. Our office mail is hosted on
Exchange 2003. I installed office 2003 and imported the security certificate
using IE options into trusted root cert. Then i configured outlook 2003 to
work over RPC. Everything worked ok. i could connect to exchange and read my
emails using the outlook or OWA. However, this was short lived. Suddenly, i
could not connect to exchange either the OWA or Outlook. When i try to
connect using Outlook, it tries to connect for a while and then go to status
disconnect. When i try OWA, it tries for a while and then gives error that
cannot display the webpage. When i ran the Diagnose the Connection Problem,
it asks to open port 443 on the firewall. I have another computer with XP on
the same network and it works fine and connect to the exchange for the same
ID using either OWA or Outlook 2003
