Cannot change my display settings/screen resolution

We recently wiped everything out, and then reinstalled everything on our
computer. Everything is up and running perfectly, except for one thing.
When I go to display properties, then go to settings, I try to change my
screen resolution, and I cannot. The slider bar will not move! I have tried
everything I can think of, and nothing is working, so any help with this
issue is greatly apprectiated!

As Will Denny's reply mentioned, this has to do with Windows not having the
correct driver for your video card - it's using something generic. Go to the
hardware manufacturer's website and download the correct driver there, and
then install it in Device Manager.

Oh, and don't get driver updates from Windows Update, ever.. :)

Go to the Video card manufacturer's web site and download and install the
latest drivers for your card.
